Install the card in the PCI slot and connect the cable to the network; turn on the computer and start Windows XP. 2. When Windows XP starts, a "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box appears identifying the card as a "Ethernet Controller"; Select "Search for a suitable driver for your device [Recommended]". NOTE, if the "Found New Hardware Wizard" dialog box does not appear, Windows XP fails to detect your adapter. There may be problem with the adapter itself or with the system BIOS. 3. Click Next then enable the "Specify a location" check box; specify the correct path in which SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter driver for Windows XP resides. 4. Click Next then Windows ME identifies the card as "SiS 900 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter" 5. Click Next to let Windows XP finishes the driver installation. Adapter Configuration --------------------- 1.
