Issue:	    
            USB devices no longer work correctly after you 
            install the Intel Chipset Software Installation  Utility in Windows XP 64bit Service PAck 1 or in Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1.

Solution:  
            A recommended fix has been provided by Microsoft in Knowledge Base article(921411).

            Please use the following installation procedures: 
                1. Windows XP 64 Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2003 Service installed
                2. Install Hot Fix QFE (921411)
                3  Intel(R) Chipset Device Software (Install Hot Fix before chipset)


This HotFiX is not required if Windows XP64 bit O/S is configured with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Hotfix Information 

A Hotfix is a single package that includes one or more files that is used to address a very specific customer problem with a product. A supported Hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in the previous mentioned article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Warning: These Hotfixes have not gone through full Microsoft regression testing. Specifically, these Hotfixes have had targeted testing which does not include testing in combination with other Hotfixes.
